Built for fully loaded touring, this 25th Anniversary Special Edition frame may appear too pretty to ride, but David has already shown he will be a kind but demanding master. I designed and built the frame to cover thousands of miles in comfort and stability under the load of the necessary gear for a self sufficient tour. To complete the touring equipment David had Bob Beckman build a beautiful set of fillet brazed steel racks and panniers. The light blue pearlescent color on this bike took several months to develop and it must be seen to be truly appreciated. Hat's off to Joe Bell who mastered the formula. By the way that's David in the below photo (middle foreground) doing the river crossing during the Old Caz Grasshopper race January 30th 2010. source page

Thanks to Brent and Katryn for 30 years of amazing workmanship and customer support for cyclists who appreciated the palplable magic of riding a custom bike.
“I know it will be a beauty. It will be a bike that will make someone walk past the Laborghini Countach parked next to the bike rack just to see Mr. Bell’s work up close. But, I am really interested in how it rides and handles. As Conan’s father said, “and the secret of steel has always carried with it a mystery.“ — Patrick O'Brien
